Production Manager

Overview:                                                                                                                                                                                                                          
Reporting directly to the President, the Production Manager will oversee day-to-day production operations of a manufacturing facility dedicated to delivering high-quality industrial equipment. The Production Manager will lead the production team in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and supervise daily production activities to meet company goals and uphold high standards of quality.
  • Lead and mentor the production team, promoting collaboration, skill development, and accountability.
  • Continuously assess and improve production processes to boost efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Coordinate with various departments to maintain seamless production and operational efficiency.
  • Make recommendations for process improvements and cost reduction.
  • Address production challenges promptly, implementing effective solutions to ensure minimal disruption.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of raw materials to prevent production delays.
  • Promote a culture of safety, ensuring all safety regulations are met and risks are mitigated.
  • Coordinate with the Operations Manager to align production strategies with overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of production management experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of quality control protocols and workplace safety standards.

  • Experience managing production machinery and maintenance schedules.
  • Proven success in implementing process improvements that reduce costs and increase efficiency.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-moving production environment.
