Production Manager

Job Description:
The company is currently hiring a Supervisor to oversee operations within the Service Bureau production department. This individual will be responsible for managing personnel, maintaining equipment, overseeing inventory accuracy, and ensuring smooth production and shipping processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervises associates and leads daily operations within the department.
- Oversees all equipment functionality, including maintenance and repair coordination.
- Manages workflow and assigns responsibilities to ensure production targets are met.
- Maintains and utilizes ERP systems to track, enter, and release inventory accurately.
- Ensures accurate inventory records and investigates discrepancies to implement corrective action.
- Coordinates cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
- Works closely with other departments to support the proper movement of materials internally and offsite.
- Confirms that all outbound shipments are completed accurately and delivered to the appropriate recipients based on schedules and customer instructions.
- Conducts final checks on outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Communicates any issues related to printing, laminating, or shipping to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Completes additional tasks and projects as directed by management.
- Proactively suggests process improvements to support ongoing efficiency and quality.
- Recruits, trains, supervises and performs evaluations for departmental staff.
Qualifications:
- Must demonstrate alignment with the company’s core values and leadership expectations.
- High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of five years of experience in a production or printing environment is required.
- At least five years of prior supervisory experience is essential.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience working within an ERP system is required.
